The day after the Super Bowl needs to made a national holiday. This would be beneficial for the entire economy of the United States. On average, over 100 million individuals watch the Super Bowl and take part in the activities that go along with watching the game. Thus, the overall production in the workplace suffers the next day, as a result. It does not help the business place to have their employees present with little to no production. In fact, studies have shown that production is decreased by 50% or more the day after the Super Bowl. More Americans watch this event than any other throughout the year. We should accept this as a part of our American culture and embrace it as a national holiday.
