Make the day after the Super Bowl a national holiday.

Created by N.R. on February 05, 2013

The Super Bowl is the most viewed event in the United States, and continues to grow with a world-wide audience. The Super Bowl is one of the few times which family and close friends all come together to celebrate this wonderful event. However, the one issue every year that effects millions of people is the issue of having to wake up the next morning to go to work, school, etc. The Super Bowl always ends at a late time and because of this many people have trouble getting home safely especially after a few drinks. For example in 2013 the Super Bowl did not end until 11 E.T. Football is an american symbol and no event but the Super Bowl represents it better, so why not glorify the yearly game with a holiday afterward to readjust and unwind, after all isn't that what New Years Day for?
