Native Americans suffered greatly when the European discovers and settlers came to the "new" world. Due to disease and conqueror's over half their population was decimated. Many native American's helped early settlers and pioneers to adapt to America and build our nation. As the original population of America they should be honored. It is often proclaimed a national holiday for federal workers. Lets make it an official Holiday.
