Make Daylight Saving Time permanent year round

Created by S.C. on March 11, 2016

The switch between Daylight Saving Time and Standard Time can be a major hassle, and even be cause for health concerns. An article published on CNN.com stated "A 2012 British study found kids got more exercise during the longer summer day." it also stated, "[R]esearchers at the University of Alabama Birmingham reported in 2012 that the spring adjustment led to a 10% increase in heart attack risk.". So not only would we help reduce the increase in heart attack risk by not having to bounce back and forth, we would also be helping our children get more exercise since they will be able to enjoy more of the daylight.
