Make Daylight Saving Time Year-Round for Contiguous 48 States.

Created by R.K. on March 09, 2014

The contiguous 48 states would benefit by staying on Daylight Saving Time for the entire year.

We have already seen Standard Time decrease from half of the year to approximately one-third of the year. Rather than continuing to disrupt sleep patterns, work, extra-curricular activities, and relaxation times twice in a relatively short span, we have reached the point that the logical solution is for the contiguous 48 states to stay on Daylight Saving Time for the entire year. Alaska and Hawaii, as well as any overseas territories, could determine which time method best serves its populace.
