Having the extra hour later in the day is a benefit to mental and physical health. While studies show that changing the clocks twice a year is potentially hazardous to health, other studies show that having more daylight during the hours when most people are awake reduces depression and lessens the impact of other mental health problems such as Seasonal Affective Disorder. It would likely also be a boost to the economy because people are more apt to get out of the house if it's not dark outside.
