The people of the United States of America have spoken, via social media, conversation, and the press. The time has come to make Daylight Savings Time permanent.
Modern life is filled with challenges. Day to day life is hectic enough for most Americans. Changing clocks twice a year adds unnecessary burden for everyone. From the church minister who loses tithes on Sunday morning after the clocks move. To the throngs of tired parents, dealing with having to adjust their young children's sleep schedule. To every American, who's circadian rhythms are disrupted twice per year, resulting in sleep deprivation and increased stress.
Make DST permanent. Allow everyone to enjoy the additional hour of daylight in the evening, and stop this archaic and unnecessary procedure.
