De-clawing big-cats like lions and tigers, is cruel and unnecessary. For big cats it often results in malformed legs and arthritis. This is caused by the animal walking on their wrists rather then their paws. They do this because they are often in horrible pain, like walking on needles or sharp pebbles. This country should be a place that respects animals for the beautiful creatures they are, de-clawing big wild cats especially should not be tolerated. Animals should be given appreciation, even in such small things as claws and toenails. For the beauty all wild animals provide us in their own unique ways, we should give them the dignity they deserve.
