When a noncustodial parent choses to not pay child support they are only hurting their children. We would like to see any parent who is at least 5,000 in arrears have their case sent to the federal government for extra monitoring and more enforcement while working with the state to ensure payment. Such as a higher percentage taken out of their wages, mandatory liens on assets, mandatory tax audits, and tougher more enforceable payment plans requiring non-custodial parents to contribute financially or be subject to mandatory community service and also he/she will be 100% responsible for the cost of transporting the children to and from their visitation until they are following the payent plan exactly for at least 6 months.
