Make dental implants and dental bridges more affordable. Missing teeth causes health problems. It is more than cosmetic.

Created by M.C. on January 31, 2014

One missing tooth can cause the other teeth to become loose and fall out. Because a tooth implant or a dental bridge is so costly, many people can not get the surgery done. Its price is so high because it is considered cosmetic. Getting a tooth replaced will help with aesthetic confidence, but the issue is deeper than that. Missing teeth leaves more room for infections as well. Infections in the mouth can also cause problems in the body, including heart problems. The American Dental Association needs to consider a more productive and cheaper way to help those with missing teeth and not put it in the cosmetic category.
