Make Diabetic's Insulin Needles And Syringes A Required Diabetic Supply the same as Test Strips and lancet's

Created by J.G. on January 12, 2014

Make it a federal Law that Diabetic's insulin Needles and syringes are Considered Required Diabetic supply's the same as Test Strips and lancet's.
At this time if you have to take diabetic insulin such as NovoLog , Lantus , Humalog just to name a few. Both the Federal Government Medicare and our Nations Medical insurance Companies do not consider the Required needles and syringes to be a Required Diabetic supply. Even the DR's I have spoken with say its just plain ridiculous. His response was how Do you take the needed insulin? Drink It? Most people I have talked to say when you are given an insulin prescription they now how many shots you require for that prescription and that the needed number of needles or syringes should be automatically be included as part of the prescription.
