Make doxxing a federal felony. It is rapidly becoming a destructive weapon, rather than a disciplinary tool.

Created by J.S. on December 12, 2014

Doxxing is a toxic process in which an individual's privacy is heavily breached, as someone compiles all sorts of information about them, be it their name, job, home address, phone number, family information, anything and everything, and is then posted publicly on the internet, often with the implicit or sometimes explicit provocation for mob justice.

We have a right to our privacy. We have a right to our free speech. Whoever you are, feminist leader, neo-nazi, PETA member, big business CEO or just some random John Doe, you deserve the ability to say something and not have a near-biblical flood of hatred flowing your way. Regardless of if it's hateful, controversial, unpopular, or simply standing up for what you think is right, no one should be able to take that from you.

Please, Obama.
