Make drug testing mandatory to receive welfare

I believe that as tax-paying Americans, we should not be paying for and contributing to the buying and selling of drugs on the streets. If we continue to give welfare checks to people who use drugs, all we will be doing is putting money in the hands of drug dealers and making our streets more dangerous. If we make drug testing mandatory for all welfare recipients, then we can ensure that our money is going to help those who really need it, not those who really need their fix.
