Make DUI a Federal crime and a felony. Those convicted should no longer have the privilege of driving and should lose their license. Create legislation to not allow those convicted to purchase vehicles. Intoxicated drivers kill and injure thousands more people in the United States than guns do, A vehicle being driven by an intoxicated driver is a weapon.
