We the people of the United States of America here by put forth this Petition to make Dumpster Diving legal on the basis that it is a form of RECYCLING. Recycling is being green and good to the environment. It also saves the stores money on having to dump their dumpsters if they get over full and also saves the environment. We have far too many city dumps filled with billions of things that can be refurbished and reused yet its not being allowed due to lack of education on this subject matter.
I see people diging through trash for bottles, cans, and recyclables so they can recycle it and get back on their feet. Why should we be punished for something that is actually GOOD for not only the environment but people in general?!
