Members of the Legislative branch are suppose to be of the people whom they serve.
The average american makes $50,054 a year.
Yet, the members of the House of Representatives and the US Senate make they make more than most. Averaging $174,000 a year not to mention the average of $3,343,867 for staff, office expenses and office furnishings per year.
We ask that the average salary of each Representative be the mean income of the state/territory they represent. No more and no less.
