Every day, we kids go to school and learn what seems to be nothing. Yet we come home so stressed, tired and overloaded with work we don't even need to know.
We are yelled at if we get the problem right but don't do the process a certain way. Even if we get everything correct.
We learn things that we do not need to know, and most importantly we do not enjoy or take a liking to what we learn as we find we have never had to use it.
We feel Science, Gym, Math, World Language and English are important but not the stuff that is overboard as we see 6th graders going home stressed because they have 20 pages of homework based on how to make some sort of creation that a rocket scientist probably couldn't even do.
The stress levels are unbelievable. Make school a place we can learn.
