Make Education (pre-K - post-collegiate) a top priority including policy and budget.

The point of this petition is to increase the support from the federal government for public school education (pre-K through post-collegiate). The support should be in the budget, increasing the tax burden % GDP from 27% to 40% and by setting policy and procedures that promote better learning. Setting class size limits not to exceed 20 students. Creating set standard for education; but not set methods for delivery, allowing teachers to teach to their students, and not to or for a test or administrator. Build more schools.
The upside for a better educated citizenship is less dependency on government aid. We have spent way too much time on Healthcare reform; entitlement program reforms and not enough on education. People are entitled to an education. Do not cut the programs... cut the need!
