Many would say slavery has ended and reparations wouldn't change our circumstance or make things better but I beg to differ. I am calling for action to be taken. I am starting this petition so that American's of African decent in this country can have a chance to live the American 'dream'. This is not asking for a handout but that justice be given to those that suffered so many years ago but has a direct impact on our economic standing in this country. Some will say things such as 'free' education and programs are in place to give a helping hand. I say this is not enough. The influx of young African American males being killed is in direct correlation with this very issue. When will we receive true justice? Our ancestors died for our rights let's take action towards equality and justice.
