the American people elect officials to go to D.C. to WORK FOR THE PEOPLE, not suck up lavish incomes and get rich! There for, a policy for ALL ELECTED OFFICIALS needs to be installed whereas, if there is a vote in the house or senate, ALL ELECTED OFFICALS obligated to vote MUST EITHER VOTE YES OR NO. No, not presents, undecideds, only yes or no. If a vote is not registered, the violating official WILL NOT MAKE A PAYCHECK FOR THAT CALENDAR YEAR.
Also, upon voting FOR a policy or law, an yes vote adheres the voter of the vote to said policy or law.
( as an example...if Congress votes for NO GUNS. they must adhere to a NO GUN policy. No armed guards etc. Right down to the PRESIDENT)
