In order to make the task of voting easier for the American working-class, I petition the Obama administration to make Election Day, the Tuesday directly after the first Monday in November, a Federal Holiday. Provisions for the holiday could be introduced at a later point in time, such as the offering of paid or unpaid leave for workers on the voter registration list, or the creation of polling stations that can be set up and used in locations other than the typical polling place.
