Voter apathy is a problem with American democracy. Due to this, people who have money is buying the elections and putting leaders in place who will support not the people's interest, but of the interest of big corporations. This also corrupt the system and elected officials and people suffer. This need to be reversed, and this is the time. To return the country to the citizens, we have to give them an opportunity to vote for what they believe in. If they can't get out on election day to vote, their voices won't ever be heard. Let us make the election day a holiday to celebrate the democratic process we have and help elect people who the citizens believe will work for them.
