Since voting is the cornerstone of our democracy, and since our democracy functions best when as many people as possible participate in it, we the undersigned hereby petition the White House and President Obama to declare, by executive order, the first Tuesday in November a National Holiday to enable everyone who wants to vote the opportunity to conveniently vote.
