make Election Day a national holiday.

Created by B.Y. on November 13, 2012

"A national day of celebrating our civic duty. Ensuring all Americans have the chance to vote. Universal suffrage means that everyone should have an equal opportunity to vote, regardless of social background, employment status, or political affiliation.

Make election day a national holiday and enroll ALL voters in the voter rolls. Why do we as citizens have to register to vote. It is archaic, unfair, and a undue burden. We should all be accepted as eligible to vote unless the state can prove otherwise. Not the other way around. Enroll all eligible voters and the only action needed by citizens should be informing the local election department of an address change."
