make Election Day a national holiday!

We have all seen the facts. The number of votes in the system each Election Day does not even come close to the total number of eligible voters. This needs to change. Going out of your way to vote after a long day on the job can be too much of a burden on many hardworking Americans. Rather than only encourage everyone to vote, together let’s petition the government to make Election Day a national holiday and reduce the excuses not to vote. Voting is a right that was fought for, and this right needs to be exercised by every eligible citizen! Other countries have already done so and have increased their voter turnout, so there is no reason we should not do the same. It’s time reboot our democracy!
