Make Election Day a National Holiday!

The estimates of the United States Elections Project, show that only 56.8% of eligible voters voted in 2016. The winner won by getting less votes than the loser. The winner won by getting 47.4% of the votes cast and therefor ~26.9% of the potential vote. TWENTY-SIX POINT NINE PERCENT. Many could not vote because election day was a work day. Make election day a national holiday.
