Make election day a national holiday! Constituents unable to take election day off ensures skewed voting in midterms.

Created by D.F. on December 04, 2015

In midterm elections, some voters are unable to take time off from work to vote. These include minority voters and voters with low-income, which unfortunately are often the same. Basically these voters represent the base of the Democratic Party. This inequity has been exploited for years by the Republican Party. The GOP is working hard to disenfranchise as many voters as possible right now. Enough is enough! Make our electoral system fair and accessible to everyone.
