People are disenfranchised from voting or otherwise uninformed about how they can get involved within their communities. Let's make election day a federal holiday and use it to celebrate democracy. When there isn't an election cycle we can use the day to encourage civic engagement across the country and campaigns to update voter's registration information. During election cycles let's ensure people actually have time to go out and vote.
