We the people ask the federal government to Change an existing Administration policy:

Make Election Day (Nov 8) a Federal Holiday; eliminate Columbus Day.

Created by S.R. on August 09, 2016

A higher number of Americans will be able to participate in the democratic process if election day is recognized as a Federal holiday, providing American workers the freedom to cast their vote. In order to maintain the current number of observed federal holidays, Columbus Day, which celebrates an historically inaccurate myth surrounding the nation's origins, should be eliminated.
