Make electoral voting a mandatory law for all legal US citizens

In the United States of America, we have an issue in the 21st century which greatly affects the outcome of our elected leaders. Many of these citizens not celebrating their given right to vote. It gives a false sense of democracy, as only a fraction of the general public over the age of 18-years old displays with political views for the United States. Many of our foreign neighbors in the pacific have made voting a mandatory necessity ; such as Australia, the nation who fines the citizen who doesn't vote. i feel as the United States is lacking in this commentary, and we must come together as a nation to receive the voices of all. i propose with this petition and hopefully many others to make election day a national holiday, giving accessibility to freely vote.
