If a child has a bad life at home, and they basically support themselves as it is, they should be aloud to get emancipated. Of course they'd need a job and be able to support themselves, but if they get emancipated at 16, what's the point? In two years they can do what they want. Contrary to belief, there are some 15 year old mature enough to take care of themselves, and be there own person.
ALL American citizens have the right to life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness; no matter their age, race, or gender. Some children feel as if their parents are depriving them of these rights. Help children get the life they want! It won't be easy, but it's their choice, and if their mature enough, they shouldn't have a problem!
