Payments made by corporations and other businesses toward the repayment of employees' student loan debts should be made tax deductible. This will strengthen the economy and middle class in the long term by reducing debt nationwide.
It is an easily passable policy with business interests embracing it as it provides an extra benefit to offer to their current and prospective employees. It's a win-win for leaders from both sides of the aisle and I urge the administration to spearhead the effort.
