make English the official language of America.

American citizens speak English. Kids who attend public school and most private schools speak English. A majority of the people who do not know English are not here legally. Many of the companies require callers to press "1" for Englsih and "2" for Spanish. I recently became aware that universities in America have Language Other Than English requirement that students have to meet in order to graduate with a Bachelors degree or higher. Learning another language other than English should NOT be forced upon students wanting to graduate. It should only be an elective. When I was at the DMV recently, there was only one window that had banners saying Donate Life. The rest of the windows were filled with banners saying Donate Life in Spanish (donar vida). English should be the official language.
