WHEREAS, the language spoken by the majority of the American people is the English language.
WHEREAS, the founding documents of this nation, including the Constitution of the United States of America , are written in the English language.
WHEREAS, historically the majority language of the United States has been the English language.
WHEREAS, there is a movement to impose bilingual education and official government documents in foreign languages in order to accommodate immigrants who refuse to learn English.
WE THE PEOPLE demand that the government of these United States create and pass legislation enshrining English as the official language of this union.
