Please recognize that while we value and respect diversity, we want to preserve English as the common language, therefore immigrants have a responsibility to learn English.
Eighty-five percent of the UN's member nations have official languages and 31 US states have already made English their official language.
If we move to another country, we are expected to learn the language and it should be no different here.
