Since the founding of the U.S., English has always been the primary language used. In a recent poll, about two- thirds (67%) or Americans already believe that English is the official language. In addition, it is the official language of 31 states. Making it the official language of the entire nation would unite us through language. Most naturalization exams are already taken in English and all official government business is in English. There is a bill that was proposed in congress in February 2015 to make English the official language of the U.S. Encourage your elected representatives to pass this bill into law!
