Make English the official language of the United States of America.

Created by E.P. on November 13, 2012

Other countries have a designated official language. This issue has been brought up before in Congress, but never passed. As of this time the United States does not have an official language and that is why a lot of schools are being required to teach subjects in other languages, such as Spanish, as well as English. We should be requiring foreigners to learn English as part of becoming a citizen. The only way to do this is to have a designated official language and English should be that language as our country was founded by English speaking people.
