Most other industrialized countries have an official language that ALL citizens and pending citizens must learn. The USA is late in doing this. Having the english language set as the official language of the USA will stop most conflicts within our borders. Plus it will make it easier for public safety officials to determineif someone is in our country legaly or not.
Having one official language will bring all citizens together and establish a common ground for every citizen to stand behind.
Having no official language creates disharmony and strife between people due to misunderstanding and mistrust of each other.
