Approximately 2/3s of native English speakers live in the United States. If countries like India can have English as an official language, where only 12.16% of the population speak English, why can't we? People in countries around the world learn English, but the USA which is an English speaking country cannot and also offers incentives for new immigrants not to learn English, such as official documents in English and Spanish (for example.) We are a land of immigrants, but if we can't communicate how will we progress forward?
