Our country spends entirely too much money on language services. It makes people that work in EVERY industry have to work harder. Police officers get undermined because the accused simply state that they didn't understand. Teachers spend more time, on average, with the non-English speaking children. The military has a policy that states that if the people around you do not understand the language you are speaking, you are not allowed to speak it. This should be standard across the board.
