Since this country's founding it has largely and for it's entire history unofficially used English as the commonly spoken language of this country. It's high time that we as a nation formally recognize and adopt the English language as our official language and require that English be the ONLY language used in any public or official proceeding affecting this country's internal AND external policies, including voting in the country on all levels. Please introduce and pass legislation recognizing and officially adopting English as the language of the Unites States.
