make English the Official Language of The United States of America. Making it the official language to be used in public

Created by S.C. on April 08, 2013

English needs to legally be made the official language of the U.S. This would save billions in having to translate official forms in most of our public offices, and all of our public schools who need to translate all information leaving school offices.Languages other than English should not be spoken in public offices, hospitals, or where coworkers or customers may feel uncomfortable.State testing, drivers license testing, voting ballots, should all be done in English. This will encourage assimilation by forcing new immigrants to learn English. It will give immigrants, and U.S.citizens a better chance of being successful and becoming a productive citizen.
