Make Enhanced ID/Driver License to be optional, not enforced or required by law. Enforced law raising privacy concerns

Created by Y.S. on November 11, 2012

What will you give up for security? This new enhanced ID/Driver License containing an RFID chip required by federal law not only for the purposes of automatic identification, and transportation use but also for tracking, voting and possibly employment. Was not the SSN for those same purposes? This new radio enabled microchip contains electronically stored information which apparently can be read from up to several yards away and does not need to be within line of sight of the reader which raises concerns of identity theft. The possibility of reading personally-linked information without consent has raised privacy concerns. Sign for enhanced ID/Driver License to be optional. If an individual wants to give up there privacy for security let them do it at their own risk not at someone elses.
