For Free Pizza Friday, all people who have registered in the United States Free Pizza Database, and who have a valid permanent address in the United States, the District of Columbia or the US territories shall be entitled to receive every Friday from the Federal Government a voucher for one free slice of plain pizza (no toppings) from a Registered Pizza Emporium. If the person lives more than five miles away from a registered pizza emporium, he or she shall be entitled to monetary compensation equal to the average sale price of a slice of pizza according to a National Pizza Index (NPI). Registered Pizza Emporia will be able to redeem each voucher, one per slice, for a 10-year treasury note, equal in price to the NPI price of a plain slice of pizza at the going yield rate.
