Make every state in the US have a law that allows law abiding people to open carry a personal defense weapon (handgun)

I would like everyone to rethink the gun laws. It should be legal to open carry a handgun in all 50 states provided that you are of legal age and have the legal permits to purchase such weapon. You all want to ban weapons and that's not the issue, if you see 6 people standing there with a gun and you have one yourself I don't think you'd have the guts to pull it. Even the field, not strip people of the rights we once had. At this point we are seeing socialism and if we as Americans don't protect ourselves it will become communism and they place we once had rights will no longer exist. Guns are not the issue people, the issue is we need to stand for each other.
