Make an exception to allow the dog of deployed Military Men/Women to attend their owner's airport homecoming .

Created by T.I. on March 26, 2013

Military Service Men and Women leave more than friends and family behind when deployed on military assigments. Their dog is also left behind for extended periods of time. Although considered "family members", unfortunately the dogs of active service members are not allowed to share in a soldiers homecoming for many reasons.

This petition proposes an exception to current airport regulations, provided certain criteria is met, i.e. liability waivers are signed, proof of current vaccinations through documentation, the dog is under control and is restrained at ALL times and is not disruptive to airport operations and/or airport personnel and passengers.

Such a small gesture would mean so much to those who service our country. There's nothing like coming home to
"Mans Best Friend".
