Many times you will be driving or stopped at a red light when a car pulls up either behind or next to you with excessively loud music, producing car shaking vibrations and a headache. This is a law full of contradictions. As ruled in Florida v Catalano (who was ticketed for excessively loud music) "For the reasons set forth below, we affirm the Second District’s declaration that the statute is invalid because it is an unreasonable restriction on the freedom of expression". Therefore playing music as loud as you want is now protected under the Constitution as free speech. Doing this is dangerous. If you are not allowed to drive with earphones in, why is this legal? This is also an infringement on rights as many of us do not want to listen to what is being played but are forced to.
