Today, it seems our government is hell bent on cutting the defecit and finding ways to come up with more revenue...and with good reason. Our economic future is dismal at best. However, with congress having the lowest approval rating in American history, this is unlkely to happen. This petition was created to urge the president to sign an executive order that states congress only gets paid the average salary of the American worker AND they are no longer allowed to vote on their own raises...did you even know they could do that? probably not.
