Make Extensive Mental Health Treatment Mandatory, as Part of Prison Sentences for Child Sexual Abuse Offenders.

Although I agree that sexual abuse of children is a crime, I also believe it is a mental illness. That belief is not one to try and excuse people for their actions, however, if you can look at a child and feel physical and/or mental arousal, there is clearly something wrong in your head. I would like to see mandatory extensive mental health treatment integrated into the sentencing of these offenders. Being as how more often than not, they will at some point be released from prison back into society, something more than just prison needs to be done to try and give them the best chance at rehabilitation.
