make the FAA permit well-controlled insulin dependent diabetic pilots to fly commercially as well as privately.

Well-controlled insulin dependent diabetic pilots (Type 1) must be given the same privileges as all other medically qualified pilots. Today non-inulin dependent diabetics (Type 2) can fly commercially for airlines and corporations but Type 1 diabetics can only fly privately (with their friends and family) but not where they have paying passengers or cargo onboard. If a Type 1 diabetic pilot can be certified to fly solo in jet aircraft over populated areas then why can they not fly commercially for a living when flying with another pilot? This makes no sense. There is no public safety issue here. These pilots are certified well-controlled by the FAA and should be granted all the rights other pilots are. This is an ADA issue but stalled in government bureuocracy. Thank you for assisting.
